BirdDog PTZ · Supplied through authorized distribution
PTZ camera systems for rooms that need coverage, not crews.
NDI®|HX3 · 4K60 · AI TRACKING · POE
Ages Productions manages field-to-post media workflows for unscripted television, live events and sports. This store carries BirdDog NDI cameras and multi-camera bundles for sanctuaries, boardrooms and broadcast rooms that need clean coverage without a camera operator on every position.
Three cameras, one controller. The $1,295 KBD costs nothing extra.
All four combos are three cameras plus a BirdDog KBD Controller, and in every one the controller is included at no additional cost — the combo price is exactly three cameras at MSRP, so the $1,295 controller genuinely adds nothing. Bundles are quoted rather than carted: we confirm stock, colour and freight before you commit.
Three positions of 4K60 on a Sony 1/1.8-inch sensor, with 3G-SDI, HDMI and USB-C on every camera. No Wi-Fi and no internal battery — which is exactly what you want in cameras that get mounted once, run on PoE and never move.

3 cameras at MSRP · KBD Controller ($1,295) included at no additional cost
Three positions of 4K60 on the same Sony 1/1.8-inch sensor, each camera adding Wi-Fi 6 and a battery good for about six hours. For a balcony or a back-of-room position you cannot get a cable to, or a room that gets struck and reset.
MSRP$6,585
3 cameras at MSRP · KBD Controller ($1,295) included at no additional cost
Three positions with 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 out, so each camera can feed a switcher over baseband as well as the network. Each body also carries an integrated NDI®|HX decoder for a return feed or teleprompter, plus dual e-ink labels.
MSRP$8,985
3 cameras at MSRP · KBD Controller ($1,295) included at no additional cost
The large-sensor camera in the range: a 4/3-inch Sony sensor for cinematic depth of field and outstanding low-light performance. A second built-in 100° panoramic camera in every body gives two independent 4K60 shots per position.

4K60 on a Sony 1/1.8-inch sensor with 20x optical reach, 3G-SDI, HDMI and USB-C. PoE powered, with no Wi-Fi or battery — fewer things to fail in a camera that lives on a wall.
4K60 on a Sony 1/1.8-inch sensor with 20x optical reach, plus Wi-Fi 6 and a battery good for about six hours. The one to pick when the cable run doesn't exist yet.
12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 out on a Sony 1/2.8-inch sensor, an integrated NDI®|HX decoder for return feeds, a 49mm filter ring, and dual e-ink labels for identifying a camera from the floor.
The large-sensor flagship: a 4/3-inch Sony sensor, and a second 100° panoramic camera in the same body giving a wide and a tight from one position. Genlock and FreeD for XR and AR stages.
Rugged, ergonomic desk control for the whole camera network, with an integrated screen and a fine-tune joystick mode. Included at no cost in every combo above — this is for adding one to a system you already have.

[03] Your room
Rooms that need coverage, not crews.
The question a spec sheet can't answer is whether a camera fits your room. Here's what actually decides it.
Churches & Houses of Worship
Three positions usually covers it: the platform, a wide of the room, and a tight shot. One volunteer can run all three from the KBD, or AI tracking can hold a shot with nobody at it. Because these are NDI over PoE, each camera needs one network cable — not an SDI home run through the ceiling.
Corporate AV & Boardrooms
Town halls, training rooms and briefing centres where the system has to look broadcast-grade and run itself. Presets make every meeting repeatable. The install is cleaner than an SDI build, which matters when you're retrofitting a finished room.
What decides the camera?
Throw distance and where you can physically mount. Every camera here is 20x optical, so reach is rarely the constraint — what decides it is whether a position can take a cable, how much light the room actually has, and whether anything needs to feed a switcher over SDI as well as the network. Tell us the room dimensions and where power and network already run.
[04] Why buy from Ages
We do the part that happens after the camera.
Ten years of production media
Ages Productions manages field-to-post media workflows for unscripted television, live events and sports — ten years as a DIT and media manager, the person responsible for what happens to footage once it leaves the camera. A camera system is only half the job. Where the video ends up is the other half, and that half is what we do for a living.
The questions that actually matter
Multi-camera PTZ is standard on the productions we work on. The brand differs; the questions don't — how many positions, who's operating, and where the video ends up. We'd rather spec it with you than sell you a part number and wish you luck.
Sourced and supported
Units are sourced new through authorized distribution with BirdDog’s 5-year manufacturer warranty. We'll spec it with you, source it, and get on a call with your installer so the person mounting it isn't guessing at the network side.
[05] How ordering works
Four steps.
01
Build a request
Add bundles or individual cameras. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed — it's a list of what you're considering.
02
We confirm the details
Stock, black or white, freight, and whether the spec actually fits your room. If something on your list is wrong for the space, we'll say so.
03
You get a quote
Priced against confirmed distributor stock, usually within one business day. No payment is taken on this site.
04
Ships to your door
